Xbox 360 NBA 2K10 Draft Combine
Basketball afficionados have to hold their breath and wait for a while before the roster of virtual basketball games will be announced. But, with XBOX 360 NBA 2K10, you can get a teaser of what to expect once the games have been released by October.
The XBOX 360 NBA 2K10 starts the game with the creation of the players. During this creation, you can choose some evident characteristics of your players as well as the form of shots your players will be giving. Other standard creation options are also given. Other features that you are given the authority to choose for would be the position and the style of playing.
The XBOX 360 NBA 2K10 also features a 2K insider. This insider will provide you with tips before, during and after a game. According to several reviews, the accuracy of the tips usually given by the insider is still questionable, although it is undeniable that this feature is certainly an excellent innovation.
Drills and games are the major activities of XBOX 360 NBA 2K10. You need to complete at least six of the eight games given. Rebounding, shooting, and dribbling are some of the courses included in the drills. There are also three levels of attribute achievements that are awarded for exceptional performance.
To maximize your skill point bonus, you need to achieve three objectives: offensive, defensive and team-oriented. However, assessment of how good a shot is tends to be subjective, biased and inaccurate.
The camera angle is another option offered in gameplay. In some instances, the camera angle becomes problematic. Manipulating the camera is also nearly impossible or extremely difficult to perform simultaneously with any other action. However, other on-court interactions showcase better performance.
In general, I would describe XBOX 360 NBA 2K10 as average or moderately good. It was not disappointing but it also did not surpass my expectations. There are still several flaws that need to be improved and repaired for the game to end up a big hit.
